Go Green Program
Certification Process Synopsis
- Information and application forms are available for download from the BOMA Go Green web site,
and are distributed by local BOMA associations
- Building owner/manager applies directly (with application fee) to the local BOMA association,
for certification
- Local association records applicant in process, on Go Green Admin site
- Local association arranges for a qualified verifier to review and validate the
application and the building
- If the verifier recommends the building for certification, the local Board or
designated governing body reviews and approves (or rejects) the application
- If approved, the building is awarded certification, valid for three years
- Local association records this on the Go Green Admin site
- BOMA Canada supplies building decal and posts building on national web site
- Local association provides Go Green recognition materials for the building
- After three years the building must apply and pay for re-certification
