Go Green Program
Certification Process Synopsis

  • Information and application forms are available for download from the BOMA Go Green web site, and are distributed by local BOMA associations
  • Building owner/manager applies directly (with application fee) to the local BOMA association, for certification
  • Local association records applicant in process, on Go Green Admin site
  • Local association arranges for a qualified verifier to review and validate the application and the building
  • If the verifier recommends the building for certification, the local Board or designated governing body reviews and approves (or rejects) the application
  • If approved, the building is awarded certification, valid for three years
  • Local association records this on the Go Green Admin site
  • BOMA Canada supplies building decal and posts building on national web site
  • Local association provides Go Green recognition materials for the building
  • After three years the building must apply and pay for re-certification
