Go Green Plus Program
Certification Process Synopsis

  • Information and application forms are available for download from the BOMA Go Green web site, and are distributed by local BOMA associations
  • Building owner/manager applies directly (with application fee) to the local BOMA association, for access to the Go Green Plus web tool
  • The local association creates a log-on for the building, and provides a password to main building contact
  • Building completes on-line Go Green Plus assessment survey, and "locks" the survey on completion
  • Local association arranges for a qualified verifier to review and validate the application and the building
  • If the verifier recommends the building for certification, the local Board or designated governing body reviews and approves (or rejects) the application
  • If approved, the building is awarded certification, valid for three years from the date of application
  • Local association records this on the Go Green Admin site
  • BOMA Canada supplies building decal and posts building on national web site
  • Local association provides Go Green recognition materials for the building
  • After three years from date of application, the building must apply and pay for re-certification
